1. Understand that God loves YOU.
a. John 3:16 – For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
2. Realize that Eternal Life is ABUNDANT
a. John 10:10 – The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
3. Recognize that we are ALL SINNERS
a. Romans 3:23 – For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
4. Understand that Eternal Life is God’s FREE GIFT
a. Romans 6:23 – For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
5. Know that Christ DIED FOR US
a. Romans 5:8 – But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
6. We MUST RECEIVE Christ
a. John 1:12 – But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
7. We MUST REPENT
a. Acts 3:19 – Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;
8. CONFESS. BELIEVE. ASK.
a. Romans 10:9, 10 & 13 – That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
